Nakhane short artist biography: Nakhane is a South African singer, songwriter, musician, author, and actor. On February 3, 1988, Nakhane Mahlakahlaka was born.
Throughout elementary school, he took classical trombone lessons while also dabbling in piano and steel drums. At the age of 19, he began playing the guitar.
He received numerous nominations for his debut album, “Brave Confusion,” at the 2014 South African Music Awards, where he ultimately won for Best Alternative Artist.
One of the few openly gay music stars in South Africa, Nakhane is also renowned.
‘You Will Not Die,’ his sophomore album, was published in 2018.
